Claire, a highly qualified and passionate horticulturist with 21 years of experience, specialises in all aspects of garden planting. Her expertise allows her to create unique outdoor spaces for each client, whether it is for entertaining or a redesign. Working alongside her team, they deliver exceptional results with attention to detail.
Claire Kenyon
As a child brought up on Scarisbrick’s family farm, I would often be found outside playing in the mud! Helping my Grandad milk the cows on a Saturday morning, Summertime was my favourite. Playing in the freshly cut hay fields, helping stack the hay on the tractor and trailer, and as I got older, I was allowed to try my hand at driving the tractor!
When I turned 13, my Mother took me to the local garden centre to apply for the pot wash vacancy in the café on a Saturday & Sunday; if I wanted fancy trainers, I had to earn them! Although I didn’t mind washing dishes, it wasn’t really what I wanted to do, and on my breaks, I’d often wander through the plants admiring all the different colours and smells. From then on, I knew I wanted to be amongst the plants. So this is where it all started…
After leaving school at 16, I was offered a full-time position in the garden centre.
Always learning and having a passion for plants, I moved on to working in a Specimen plant nursery, from growing and nurturing plants to managing the nursery. Advising customers on plants was all in a day’s work, gaining the experience and knowledge I now know.
Always having ambition and the drive, I wanted to work for myself, so 2014 Claire Kenyon Landscapes was born! Putting my creativity and knowledge of plants together, thus creating beautiful gardens.

Do you need some expert advice on your garden? I provide one-to-one teaching mentor sessions. Tailored to your level of knowledge and garden needs, this ranges from a few hours to a day for beginners. This can give you a good insight into how to go about achieving what you want in your garden.
